Junior Start Sailing 2025  

This is a course for juniors and youths from 8 years upwards to learn to start to sail. By the end of it you will be able sail out and come back and gain RYA Stage 1 certification! The members cost of £70 includes instruction, use of a boat and buoyancy aid, a RYA logbook and certificate. Once stage 1 is completed members can come to our Coaching sessions which run every other Sunday morning during the season. Non-members are welcome too but the cost is £110.

 There are three  JSS Courses running throughout the year:

JSS1: Dedicated two day learn to sail course. 17 and 18 May (weekend).

JSS2: Two days during the school summer holidays (21 and 22 Aug)

JSS3: Two day learn to sail course. 6 and 7 Sept (weekend)

There are also opportunities to learn to sail during Youth Week.

 Please note, for juniors who are 13 years old or younger, a nominated responsible adult must remain on site during the training.
