Youth Coaching (12 sessions) 2024
For those that already have their Stage 1 we have regular Sunday Morning Coaching sessions which take you right through the RYA stages (e.g. tacking, gybing, sailing different boats) and into the racing domain. We encourage our young sailors to take part in the main racing events after lunch. As progress continues the young sailors are encouraged to sail at local and national events. Youth coaching is only available to club members.
There are a total of 12 Sunday morning sessions starting on the 14th April. The other dates are: 28 Apr, 12 & 26 May, 9 & 23 June, 7 & 21 July, 1 &15, 29 Sep, 13 Oct (fortnightly with a break during the summer holidays). Please see the sailing calendar for all the Coaching Sessions and inter-club events. Cost was £50 for the season - now reduced to £30 for the remaining sessions.
If you are booking youth coaching and wish to hire a club boat please also book and pay for the boat on Webcollect before arriving at the club for the sessions you are attending. Alternatively you can use your own boat if you have one.
