VHF Familiarisation
As a result of work being done by the Support Boat Leadership team, It became apparent that some volunteers would like some familiarisation and practice using the clubs VHF radios, to better serve those on the water.
Therefor a short program has been developed to introduce you to the clubs VHF Radios. The 1.5 hour sessions cover the storage, aftercare, charging and practical use of the radios with actual practice calling stations in a controled environment. There is a short pre read and a session at HSC. Numbers limited to 12. Aimed initially at those who volunteer for Race Duties and supporting Kayaking sessions.
