IOS Island Race 2024
A circumnavigation of the Isle of Sheppey including capsizing the boats under the Kingsferry Bridge, open to all dinghies, multihulls,, sailboards and wings. With racing at the club on Saturday, an evening social event and the main event on the Sunday. Part of the Allen series, the race has sea and estuary sailing, round the island in a clockwise direction, starting and finishing at the club. Beach parties will be available at the start, finish and Kingsferry Bridge to assist and monitor competitors.The 2024 event will be on 31st August and 1st September, Please email iosscenquiries@outlook.com.
