Discover Windsurfing (non-members)

Have you ever fancied trying windsurfing? If the answer is yes, then why not come and give it a go!
Have a windsurfing lesson with an experienced instructor on our club boards. Cost is £35 per person.
All that is required is some warm clothes you don't mind getting wet, a wetsuit is ideal - if you don't have one we have a variety that may fit and can be borrowed. You will need to bring an old pair of trainers (that you don't mind getting wet) and a towel. There are changing rooms and showers in the clubhouse. If it is a colder day, a waterproof is useful; likewise if it is sunny, use suncream. We will provide a buoyancy aid.
Please aim to arrive around 9.30am for the session to start at 10am. It will last 2 hrs until 12 noon.
There is free parking within the club's premises - follow the signs to the sailing club to the right of the Tower Knowe car park. The galley will be open for hot drinks and confectionery and you will be able to borrow crockery / use the microwave in the member's galley for your lunch. You are welcome to stay at the club as long as you like before and after your session.
Please note that as a non-commercial entity, we can't offer training to non-members. If you enjoy your session and wish to continue (we hope you will!), you'll have to join the club to continue.
Cancellation policy
Fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the training day.
A full refund will be given for cancellation within a week of the training day.
KWSC will try to run booked courses but as a volunteer-only club, we can't guarantee instructor availability. Full refunds will of course be given if we have to cancel due to lack of volunteers to run sessions or due to adverse weather conditions.
