Dear all,
We’re excited to announce that the 2027 Absolute Beginners’ Course is now open for booking!
Whether you're curious about beekeeping or ready to take your first steps, this course is a perfect introduction.
Course Format:
Six online evening sessions fortnightly January 2027 starting at 7:30pm, covering the essentials of beekeeping:
- 12 January – The Honey Bee
- 26 January – Beekeeping Equipment
- 9 February – The Beekeeper’s Year
- 23 February – Preparing The Apiary
- 9 March – Swarming
- 23 March – Pests And Diseases
Plus Hands-On Workshops held at the Bothwell Community Garden on Saturdays from 10am till 4pm:
