Individual Membership:

Annual subscription provides the full range of membership benefits.

Partner Membership:

One Partner linked to Individual Member, at same address. Covered by BBKA insurance. May serve as a Trustee and has voting rights.

Associate member:

For members of a different Beekeeping association. Excludes membership to BBKA, YBKA. No voting rights.

Junior Member:

Up to eighteen years of age. Linked to Individual Member.

Social Member:

Able to attend meetings, not covered by BBKA insurance. Not able to serve as a Trustee and no voting rights.

School Membership:

Up to a limit of three people, one lead staff member and two additional members of staff. Lead member has voting rights and can serve as a Trustee.

LBKA Associate Membership

Annual End Date: 31st December

Associate Subscription £12

As an associate member of LBKA you will receive regular newsletters - electronically where possible and be able to attend LBKA events.

LBKA Social Membership

Annual End Date: 31st December

Standard subscription £5

Ideal for those family members who want to come along to meetings and social events, but not actually take part in beekeeping. A maximum of four social members per household.

Please be aware members must share the same address as the Registered Association Member they are linked to and are not covered by any insurance.

LBKA School Membership

Annual End Date: 31st December

Standard subscription £0

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. We cannot offer a reduction in fees for part year membership. Your LBKA School membership includes membership of BBKA and YBKA. You will eventually receive a welcome pack from BBKA and will receive regular newsletters from them. Members have the right to attend all YBKA and BBKA events.

LBKA Individual Membership

Individual Subscription £33

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. We cannot offer a reduction in fees for part year membership. Your LBKA Standard membership includes membership of BBKA (this provides you automatically with Public Liability Insurance) and YBKA. You will receive the monthly BBKA News magazine and will receive regular newsletters from them. Members have the right to attend all YBKA and BBKA events.

LBKA Partner Membership

Annual End Date: 31st December

Standard subscription £19

This membership covers one partner member, who is linked to a full association member and must reside at the same address. This membership provides the same benefits as an individual member. One copy of the BBKA News magazine per household.

Both members would be covered by BBKA insurance. Ideal for couples who do their beekeeping together.

LBKA Junior Membership

Annual End Date: 31st December

Standard subscription £10

For junior members up to the age of 18.

Please be aware members must share the same address as the Registered Association Member they are linked to and are covered by insurance. The Registered Member will have responsibility for the Junior Member.
