***Original blurb of the event is below:***
Following the huge success of this drinks reception for the last two years with the brilliant Terrence Higgins Trust, we are back this year with an even more special event on Sunday the 29th of September.
We will celebrating the progress made on HIV in recent years and looking to how the Conservatives in opposition can push the new government to go further. Not just because it should be done, but because it can be done - and new HIV cases can be ended by 2030.
There have been significant shifts in policy, delivery, prevention and care over the last 14 years - be this PEP, PREP, HAART, self-testing kits and the roll out of opt-out HIV testing in A&Es. We cannot stop here.
Join Richard Angell OBE (CEO of Terrence Higgins Trust), Rt. Hon. Stuart Andrew MP (Chief Conservative Whip), Luke Robert Black (Chairman of the LGBT+ Conservatives), Mims Davies MP (Shadow Women and Equalities Minister) and the Rt. Hon. Victoria Atkins MP (Shadow Health Secretary).
Due to extremely high demand, we will be opening a guest list. To join the list, simply purchase a free ticket here and arrive at least 5 minutes early. Open to all. Once ticketed attendees have arrived, we will open the guest list on a first come, first served basis. Members will be given priority.
