The LGBT+ Conservatives celebrates its 50th year anniversary this year.
This makes us one of the oldest, if not the oldest, politically affiliated LGBT+ group in the world – a title we proudly share with our friends in LGBT+ Labour.
We will be marking this anniversary throughout the year, with a series of events and initiatives, for members, patrons and LGBT+ Conservative parliamentarians past and present. The name for this event is:
"50 Years: The Members' Reception"
Join us for a special evening, at a flagship West London private members' club with the Rt. Hon. Tom Tugendhat MBE VR MP. Conservative MP for Tonbridge, Tom is a highly respected Conservative MP with an impressive career both before and during his time in Parliament. Responsible for some of the UK's most important briefs, and a proud Conservative activist, Tom has built up a strong reputation within the party. Tom has also been an incredible ally to us and remains steadfast in his support for LGBT+ here and globally.
