Junior Spring Camp
We will be hosting our Junior Spring Camp on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May. The intention of the camp is to focus on developing sailing skills, Beginners and intermediates will be focusing on the RYA early stages and the advanced group will be focusing on racing techniques. Our camps are also known for their fun and games which we will be included throughout the weekend. Sailors and their families are also invited to camp on the club grounds for free, the galley will also be open all weekend for food.

Eligibility
- All participants must be between 7 and 16 years of age on the 1st day of the event.
- All participants should be able to swim at least 25 metres.
- Parents/guardians must be present or nominate an adult to look after their child on each evening.
- All participants must be club members.
- Responsible adults must be at least a parent/guardian member of LLSC. You can join the club at LLSC Subscriptions under your own name then add your child as a member of your family.
Entry Categories
- Adventures On Water/Beginners is for children who have never sailed before or have very limited experience. You do not need your own boat as club boats will be used. This is about gaining confidence on the water and beginning to learn to sail
- Improvers is for children who can sail. The focus will be on developing boathandling skills. Boat hire may be available for sailors in this group if needed.
- Advanced is for children who have more experience. The focus for the week will be improving racing skills with a coach.

Training Centre Information
The centre is Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club located at Green Lane, Lowton, Warrington, WA3 1BQ
The operating area is Pennington Flash.
Courses leading to recognised RYA Stages will be run by formally qualified instructors or coaches. Tuition is free, if you require an RYA logbook or certificates there is a one off cost of £10, this will cover all future certificates.
Advanced sessions may be delivered by instructors who do not hold formal qualifications but are simply qualified by experience in the course subject matter.
