Fitness for Sailing
In partnership with Leigh Sports Village, an introduction to fitness for sailing.
This is not designed to be a big sweaty session, more an introduction to some exercises that can done at home focussing on knees, core and shoulders. Simple exercises that will build stability in those key areas that can help prevent injury and keep us all sailing injury free for longer.
Suitable for those new to sailing or those that have been doing it much longer and are possibly already feeling some of the niggles we are prone to!
Meet at the Sports Village Leisure centre ready to go water bottle in hand at 9am.
