1. Rules
1.1 The event is governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028.
2. Sailing Instructions
2.1 The Sailing Instructions will be available at least 3 days before the first scheduled race on the Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club WebCollect event page. See https://webcollect.org.uk/llsc and select this event.
3. Eligibility and Entry
3.1 The event is open to all RS Aero dinghies
3.2 Entry is online only- cash on the day will not be accepted.
3.3 Eligible boats may enter the event by registering online via Webcollect. See https://webcollect.org.uk/llsc and select this event.
3.4 To be considered an entry in the event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees.
4. Fees
Entry fee is:
£15 for adult sailors
£10 for under-18 sailors.
50% discount for full club members
Online entry will close on 26th April.
5. Schedule
5.1 Dates of Racing: 26th April 2025.
5.2 4 races are scheduled. The expected schedule is:
There will be a competitor briefing at 10:30 hrs.
The scheduled time of the Warning Signal for the first race is 11:27 hrs
The expected schedule is 2 shorter races back to back
lunch
2 races alongside club fleet racing, although this is subject to change.
6. Clothing and Equipment
6.1 40.1 is changed as follows: Each competitor shall wear a personal flotation device at all times whilst afloat. Wet suits and dry suits are not personal flotation devices. Flag Y will not be displayed.
7. Venue
7.1 The location of Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club is Green Lane, Off Sandy Lane, Lowton, Warrington. WA3 1BJ.
