Better Sailing YSS3  

This is a three day RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 3 course Suitable for ages 8 to 16 with previous sailing experience We would recommend doing some additional sailing beyond your stage 2 course to get the most benefit from this course. This course helps to develop your single handed skills.  Building on your existing skills and introducing a variety of practical boat control techniques, such as man overboard, coming alongside and picking up a mooring, we will have you sailing with more confidence in no time!  We will also start introducing more background theory including tidal information, weather and boat controls.

What’s Included

• Wet-suit, Buoyancy Aid, Helmet

What you need to bring

• Swimwear, Towel, Drinks, Sun-cream, weather appropriate clothing 

• Spare pair of shoes to wear in the water with closed toes

• Lunch and Snacks

• Water Bottle.

Timings

• Start Time 9:30

• Finish time 4:30
