Start Racing
This two day start racing course on 13th and 14th of July is aimed at adults and 14 and over who are interested in beginning racing. It is an introductory course so no previous racing experience is required. Participants should be at a Level 2 standard. Confident in sailing their boat around a triangular course.

- Boat Handling
- Boat Speed
- Tactics
- Strategy
Start time for both days will be 9:30 and we will aim to finish at 4:30. There will be a break for lunch and you are advised to bring your own packed lunch.
There will be classroom and on the water sessions on Saturday, on Sunday we will get on the water in the morning, we will then have a detailed briefing before joining in with the Sunday club racing. Where you will receive coaching and support during the race. We will finish with a debrief and washup after the race.
This course is open to LSC members and non members. Non members are requested to select the non member option to purchase temporary membership.
