Join LVPC's beginner Slalom camp for an unforgettable introduction to the world of Canoe Slalom! Our three-day camp offers a unique opportunity to experience this extraordinary sport in a setting like no other. As a competitive sport and an Olympic discipline, Canoe Slalom will not only challenge you but also instil in you a level of discipline that will stay with you for life.

 

The three day camp will consist of two sessions each day, we will first meet at 10:15 for a briefing, the first session begin 10:30-11:15 then some time for a snack, picnic or using the cafe onsite. The second session will commence at 12:15 with the camp finishing at 13:30. You will be coached by GB athletes, expect a relaxed vibe and a nice introduction to Kayak and Canoe. 

 

Bring a rash vest or t shirt, leggings or shorts, paddling shoes or trainers that you don't mind getting wet.

 

Located in Lee Valley, the training venue for the Olympic team, our camp provides access to top-tier coaches who have achieved international success in Championship level events. After completing the initial camp, you'll have the chance to return for an intermediate-level program focused on enhancing your kayaking skills, including in-depth training on boat control and navigating gates.

Upon completion of the intermediate camp, you'll have the option to join our club and engage in regular training sessions through our club pathway. This will open the doors for you to explore competitive opportunities and delve deeper into the thrilling world of Canoe Slalom.
