Welcome to Leicester Windsurfing and SUP Club Ltd

We are a friendly club offering an affordable and safe windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding experience suitable for beginner, intermediate and experienced members.

We have regular Club nights on a Tuesday from the beginning of April through to the end of October. In addition members meet regularly on Sundays  and other evenings during the summer months subject to weather conditions. Club nights provide the opportunity for members just to have fun on the lake, work on their techniques or participate in some friendly competition. The lake is suited to Stand Up Paddle Board and/or Long Board Windsurf Racing.

At weekends, many of us take a picnic to the lake and enjoy a good day with the family by the lake. This provides the opportunity for younger family members to have fun on the water and if they wish to try out windsurfing or stand up paddle boarding they can do so at their own pace. There is usually practical help on hand from club members.

Access to the lake is during daylight hours 365 days per year. It is compulsory that you take a second person with you either on the lake or on the lakeside to watch out for your safety, solo use of the lake is not permitted. When park run is taking place members should avoid arrivals and departures during the park run time.

The Club Cabin has changing facilities including a change area and toilet/wash hand basin. The club  has a range of both windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding equipment available to members and ideal for both beginners and intermediate users.
