There is a small road on left leading to the car park which has a height barrier (you may need to off load boat before entering the car park) trolleys are a good idea. https://maps.app.goo.gl/gvtzUTWFirMARUK38

This is a good touring paddle with great views of the colleges greens.

We have a picnic launch at Jesus collage park adjacent to the river before returning to Byrons pool.

If you carry on down Grantchester Rd there are several laybys where access to the river can also be gained this pool joins Byrons pool and could be used for high sided vans

It is free to paddle if you are a Paddle UK member, you must carry your membership card and display your number on your boat, alternatively you can perches a licence. https://www.camconservancy.org/boat-registration
