Bring wheels if you have them, we may have to portage to the play ground 200 yrds
Part 1: Get in at Heybridge at the café/Jolly Sailor. Where we get on the Blackwater with tide, past Maldon Esplanade towards Beeleigh falls, approx. 3 miles.
Part 2:We will paddle from Beeleigh up the Chelmer canal to Heybridge, approx. 3 miles.
Just over 6 miles in total.
Aim to finish around 8.30 pm .
Skill set: confident.
Boat: Sea kayak, Tourer/Crossover with skeg.
Please contact event organiser if you are unsure of your ability and suitable kit or wish to hire a kayak, a small number will be available.
