Adult Intermediate Sailing Course (RYA Basic Skills, Level 2)
This is a 6 week intermediate course aimed at improving skills, perhaps trying different boats, maybe helping in a decision as to which boat sailors might want to buy, and build confidence.
Participants should be well equipped to participate in other Club races and events at weekends and throughout the year. A full race schedule is published on the Web Site Event Calendar
All participants must be paid up members of Mumbles Yacht Club, which is not included in the course price.

Dinghy Level 2 - Basic Skills
Build your confidence and develop your skills. By the end of this course you'll be a competent sailor in light winds
Required experience : Sailing skills to the standard of Level 1 Start Sailing
Minimum duration: Approximately 2 days, 16 hours or equivalent number of sessions
Minimum age: 16 (although speak to us if this is a problem or you'd like to learn with your older child)
Content: Rigging, launching and building confidence sailing in all directions. Capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.
Certificate issuing criteria: Able to sail confidently on all points of sail and make decisions in good conditions.
