Youth Beginner Sailing Course (RYA Stage 1 & 2)
A 10 week course on a Monday or Wednesday evening; sailors will then work towards RYA Stage 2. By the end of the season sailors should be ready (if they want) to join in the fun at Llangorse Lake, in the Acorn OnBoard Regatta, in late summer!
We are running this course as a 10 week course, but anticipate losing a one or two sessions for weather related issues. Where needed, we will move inclement weather sessions to a theory session, or we will cancel if a theory session is not needed. We will get out on the water if at all possible though.
The Youth Sailing scheme is usually completed in small dinghies suitable for the size of the sailor, but courses can also be completed in keelboats and multihulls. Our expert instructors offer a safe environment for children to have fun, learn and challenge themselves.
