Join Team Manvers at the HUUB National Triathlon Relays 2026
DATE - Saturday 29th August 2026 VENUE - National Water Sports Centre, Adbolton Lane, Nottingham NG12 2LU (located just off the A52. Sat Nav - NG12 2LU)
DISTANCES - Tag Relay x4 people per team – 500m Swim – 15k Bike – 5km Run Cost - £212 per team (*plus fee) - (plus an additional £8 for Race Day Licence (cash on the day) - unless you hold a BTF membership with Race Licence - this number will be required and checked).
Organised Chaos
A fun, team challenge like no other in triathlon! The acutely named ‘organised chaos’ of the Triathlon Relays attracts up to 2000 athletes taking part in men’s, women’s and mixed relay teams of four athletes per team.
Teams to comprise 2 male / 2 female athletes in the following age groups: Junior, Senior, Vets 40+, Vets 50+ all in the same age category as of 31/12/26.
Team Manvers (normally) opt for the afternoon wave. Gives chance to travel and rack.
The Format - It’s very simple; in teams of four, each person does one element of the triathlon, then tags the next person, sounds simple hey! The first-person swims, then tags the second person, they then swim, and so on until all four team members have swum. The fourth swimmer will hand over the 'baton' to the first cyclist, which is also the first swimmer, who then does the 15km bike, hand the 'baton' to the second cyclist (second swimmer), and so on. All four complete the bike course individually, tagging the next competitor once they have completed their 15km, and then the final cyclist tags the first runner, also the first swimmer/cyclist. When all four have completed 5k run individually, the final runner crosses the finishing line in front of the grandstand.

To join us, please select your team preference (if you have one) on the booking form below. Please pay for your entry via Webcollect (MWBC will then arrange payment to with the event organisers). If you have your own team - perfect, if not, don't worry we'll hook you up. Within that team, you'll also need a Team Captain. But we can sort that out and be in touch with you directly.
The Categories
Saturday Morning – Male, Female & Open Teams Male Senior, Male Vet 40+, Male Vet 50+, Male Junior. Male teams must consist of 4 males. Female Senior, Female Vet 40+, Female Vet 50+, Female Junior. Teams of 4 women.
Saturday Afternoon – Mixed Teams & Open Teams Teams to comprise 2 male / 2 female athletes in the following age groups: Junior, Senior, Vets 40+, Vets 50+ all in the same age category as of 31/12/26
If you want to be eligible for the National Championships please be aware of the age group/team rules.
If you are a British Triathlon member (and includes Race Day licence) please complete the form and you membership card will be required - if not don't worry a day membership is available £8 (cash on the day).
After you have signed up, it is vitally important you find a replacement asap and let us know if you cannot make it on the day. We will;
1. need to find a replacement;
2. cannot make any changes to the team after 5pm 14th August.
Parking at the venue is now charged - this is imposed by the venue for parking within the grounds of the National Water Sports Centre.
