Yoga with a difference - on a SUP board on Manvers Lake
Feel the motion of the water, the birds tweeting and be in the beautiful surroundings of Manvers Lake, while balancing on a SUP board early in the morning.
This activity is suitable for all abilities of SUP paddler and yoga participant.
Club equipment (boards, paddles, buoyancy aids) is available for these coached sessions.
What to wear?
You need to strike the balance between keeping warm,dry and being able to move and stretch! Some wear wetsuits just in case they fall in the water, however these can restrict mobility, some wear leggings and loose fitting clothes and take the risk etc.
These sessions are suitable for beginners who want to give SUP a try and will introduce you to basic skills like balancing, forward paddling and steering, also basic yoga poses and flows.
Please ensure you are on the water for 6:30 all tied in for a 6:45 start!! in the morning.
