2026 - Adults Learn to Sail - RYA Level 1
Adults Learn to Sail: National Sailing Scheme Level One Course for Adults
This course is perfect for those with no experience, or wishing to rebuild their skills following a long break from sailing. You will be sailing in a boat with an instructor. The course covers: boat rigging, getting going, steering and sail setting, as well as supporting theory for safe sailing. By the end of the course you will be able to sail under supervision in light winds. The course will be taught in Yeoman Keelboats.
Dates: This is an 18 hour course, split over 6 consecutive Thursday mornings (excluding half term) as follows: 16th April, 23rd April, 30th April, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May
Times: 09:30am until 12:30pm.
