May Half Term: Junior Training
Dates: 26th, 27th & 28th May 2026
Times: 9.30am until 3.30pm
We are pleased to be able to offer three days of junior training over the May half term holiday. We are offering a combination of both RYA training and non-RYA courses, with a number of different groups available. These sessions will be run by RYA qualified instructors.
The following groups are being offered,
Junior Water Rats, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Fun in Double Handers
You will need a boat to take part in Water Rats, Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3. We do have Boat Hire available for £45 (limited availability - see page 2 of booking form). For Fun in Double Handers, boat hire is included.

PLEASE NOTE - If the stage you need is full, please select 'waiting list' and fill the online form out, there is no payment required to put your name on the waiting list. We hope to provide a space for all children but we do have to follow RYA ratios per group. Thank you for your understanding.
Food
The galley will be open for the duration of the course, and lunch is available to pre-book for attendees. We would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. The cost for the three days is £25.80
The Menu
Day One
Two sausages (meat or vegetarian), Mashed Potato, Peas and Gravy
Day Two
Penne Bolognese (meat or vegetarian), Salad and Garlic Bread
Day Three
Scampi and Fries, Peas and Tartare Sauce / Quorn Bites and Fries, Peas and BBQ Sauce
If you select the course with food, we will send round a form for you to fill in your food choices, before the course begins.
