Power Boat Level One Junior Course 2025   iCal entry for this event

We are delighted to offer this comprehensive one day power boat level one course on 22nd March 2025


Times 9.30am until 4.30pm - meet in the HFTC

 

Ruth Owen will be your instructor

 

The course provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. The course may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement, and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place. A one day introduction to Powerboating with no previous experience required.

 

Ability after course: Self-sufficient powerboater in the right conditions, aware of own limitations and those of the craft

 

Please note: This course is taught in NBYC owned powerboats on Wroxham Broad.  Please ensure that you are suitably dressed.  Lifejackets are available if you do not have your own. 

 

The galley might not be open for food and drink so please bring plenty of your own for the day
