Private Tuition Parslow-Williams 2026
Your One-to-One Sailing Tuition
Saturday 28th November : 1pm until 3pm at Norfolk Broads Yacht Club
Instructor : Ruth Owen
We look forward to welcoming you for your private sailing tuition!
Your session will be tailored to your individual experience, ability and confidence, giving you the opportunity to develop your sailing skills at your own pace. Whether you're looking to refresh existing knowledge, improve your technique or simply enjoy some time out on the water, we'll make sure the lesson focuses on what you would like to achieve.
You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with the boat and develop your skills in areas such as steering, sail control, understanding the wind, tacking and gybing, and general boat handling.
With dedicated one-to-one tuition, there will be plenty of time to ask questions, practise new skills and build confidence on the water.
What to bring – Your Kit List
Please make sure you bring the following with you:
- Clothing: Comfortable clothes suitable for the weather. Quick-drying layers are ideal.
- Footwear: Old trainers or watersports shoes with good grip that you don't mind getting wet. Please avoid open-toed footwear.
- Waterproofs: A waterproof jacket and trousers if you have some, whatever the forecast.
- Warm layers: A fleece or jumper, as it can feel considerably cooler out on the water.
- Spare clothes: A complete change of clothes, including underwear and socks... just in case!
- Towel: Just in case you get a little wetter than expected!
- Sun protection: Sun cream, sunglasses and a hat on sunny days.
- Water bottle: Please bring something to keep hydrated.
- Personal medication: Any medication you may need during your session.
Before You Arrive
- Please arrive in good time so we can get you ready for your lesson.
- We recommend leaving valuables and unnecessary belongings somewhere safe.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you have a fantastic sailing session.
