Wednesday Evening Junior Race Training 2026
NBYC are delighted to offer Wednesday Evening Race Training for Junior & Youth Members
5:15 - 6:45, every Wednesday evening. £8.50 per sailor.
Each week will be led by an NBYC Race Coach, with race training exercises to start the evening. For those less experienced, the coach will then support sailors around the course in a 'Regatta Style Fleet' for the first evening race.
Race training is suitable for anybody who has completed their Stage 3 or higher - and exercises will be tailored to suit those all the way up to those participating in the NBYC Academies.
Please be rigged and ready to sail at 5:15, and meet your coach on the NBYC Veranda.
Sessions are bookable two weeks in advance. Should there not be space, please add your name to the waiting list and you will be contacted prior to the next session going live to be offered a priority space. Please note that bookings for each session close on the Tuesday night prior to the Wednesday session.

Every attempt will be made to ensure your course runs, but Norfolk Broads Yacht Club reserve the right to cancel the course due to extreme weather conditions, or insufficient demand, staffing or other technical issues.
Where a course has to be cancelled by NBYC, we will offer a full refund for the cost of the course.
Where a candidate chooses to cancel their space on the course, we will offer a pro rata refund as follows. Please note that all cancellations must be in writing.
Cancellations notified more than 2 months before the start of the course: 90% refund
Cancellations notified more than 1 month before the start of the course: 50% refund
Cancellations notified less than 1 month before the start of the course: No refund
