⛵ ATHENE CUP & BLACKBIRD TROPHY – SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER 2026 ⛵
Join us for the final sailing event of the Norfolk Punt Club’s Centenary Season and help us finish our 100th anniversary year with a great day of Norfolk Punt racing on the River Thurne.
The event is open to all Norfolk Punts and non-NPC members are very welcome. The Punts will be racing for the Blackbird Trophy (first over the water) and the Athene Cup (first on handicap).
PLEASE ENTER IN ADVANCE VIA WEBCOLLECT by the end of Thursday 1 October so that we have an idea of numbers. A minimum of 4 entries is required for the race to go ahead.
WEATHER & ENTRY FEE
The event is, of course, weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice. Please check the NPC WhatsApp for updates. If we do need to cancel, we will aim to let entrants know the day before or by text before 8am on Saturday morning.
Because the event may be cancelled at short notice, the £10 Athene Cup entry fee will be collected in cash on the day – please bring the correct money.
