Barton Open Regatta - Sunday Hog Roast
Sunday’s sailing racing will finish at 15.50 with a bang and a huge pursuit race involving as many classes of boat as possible. There are trophies for first YBOD, first BOD, first Yeoman, first River Cruiser, first Allcomer (PY 1200 or under) as well as first boat overwintering on the Ant or whose owners live on the Ant.
This will be followed by a water frolic and fun races including; rowing races (10 and under, 11-15 and 16+), a swim, sail and paddle mixed relay and a greasy pole.
On Sunday Nelson County Catering will be bringing their Hog Roast out to the pontoons and serving up a fab meal with salads, potatoes and a veggie/vegan alternative. Competitors are welcome to bring their own drinks and the Prize Giving for the pursuit race and fun races will take place during the evening.
