How Many Gulfs - Sailing from Corfu to Astros?
In 2017 we brought our 12m 'Carrig Hannah' from Marmaris vis the Cyclades, the Greek Islands and Corinth Canal to Messolonghi, then in the following year to Corfu.
We planned to transit the Canal again in the opposite W-E direction. However, with the pandemic and major damage, the Canal had been closed and 2024 was our opportunity. Having sold Carrig Hannah, we now signed up for s 4-week delivery passage with a flotilla company to help take their yachts from their Winter base in Corfu to their Summer base at Astros in the Argolic Gulf on the North of the Peloponnese.
This voyage, the Greek ports, the Corinth Canal and interesting customs will be the focus of our talk in March.
