Sailing Week Boat Hire Cadet Topper 2026  

1. The definitive single hander for junior racing sailors up to age 15 and anyone within the weight range of 47-63kg.
2. Cadets who have been using a particular Topper for the season will be able to use the one that they have been used to.
3. Boats can be booked during Sailing Week at Seaford. 
4. The sessions are split to AM and PM. At the AM sessions, there will be club instructors available to advise and help.
5. In the AM session, there is a separate race for Cadets. Cadets can sail in any boat. The competition is open to all under 18's at the 1st of January 2026. There is a Trophy known as the Len Miller Trophy
6. During the PM sessions, there are two races which are fiercely contested. Experienced Cadets are welcome to join in with these races, but no quarter will be given to cadets by some of our racers.
7. Priority for boats will go to those who can attend all of the days
8. The Expedition is on Saturday 1st August and will set off from Seaford to the Cuckmere Beach for lunch - there will be spaces on other boats for passengers - all the boats stay together - it is not a race.
