Fruit Tree Grafting
Learn how to graft fruit trees with Wendling Beck Market Garden. During this workshop you will cover the basics of grafting, looking into how and why we graft, discover different varieties, the fruits they produce and the techniques suited to different situations. You will practice two types of graft; whip and tongue and side grafting. Both of which are carried out late winter / early spring. You will take home your very own grafted apple tree.
Hot drinks and biscuits provided. Please note that you will be working in an unheated greenhouse, so wearing warm clothing is essential.
