Rustic furniture making using greenwood techniques
This workshop is aimed at beginners and those who have attended the working with greenwood workshops previously.
Spend the day in a woodland setting, using traditional tools to make a chair or a range of other projects using green wood. You will be taught the skills required but those with more experience could tackle something more complicated. Learn how to use the green wood fresh cut from logs, how to split and prepare for shaping on a shave horse and assemble using hand tools.
There will be a camp fire with a kettle to make drinks.
Some tools will be provided but bring along a draw knife and any other tools for your own use.
Tutor Tom Fox
Take along a packed lunch.
There will be a £6.00 charge for wood to be paid on the day.
