Edinburgh Photographic Society was Instituted in 1861. EPS is one of the oldest photographic societies in the world and one of the largest in the UK.  EPS warmly welcomes all who share an interest in photography – from the complete beginner to the most skilled photographer.  

We have a full annual programme of photography from September to April each year, with regular club competitions, workshops and activities to challenge and improve your skills. We also have a wide variety of photographic talks from superb photographers from around the UK and beyond.Our programmed activities are contained in our published Syllabus, downloadable from our website www.edinburghphotographicsociety.co.uk. 

We have a wide variety of skills in the club, with separate sub-groups for Creative Digital, Nature, and Studio photography, tutorial evenings, and photographic outings.
