The season continues on the 16th January with "The Taste of Things", a 2023 French historical romantic drama film written and directed by Trần Anh Hùng starring Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel.

Set in 1889, it depicts a romance between Eugenie, an esteemed cook, and Dodin, the fine gourmet chef she has been working for over the last 20 years.
Growing fonder of one another, their bond turns into a romance and gives rise to delicious dishes that impress even the world's most illustrious chefs. When Dodin is faced with Eugenie's reluctance to commit to him, he decides to start cooking for her.

The film premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, and was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or where Tran Anh Hung won the Best Director award. The film was chosen as the French entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.*

TICKETS AND INTERVAL FOOD
Our film nights are held in Sheet Village Hall from 7.00pm onwards. A cashless bar serves drinks before the film and during the interval. Food, for delivery from the Queen's Head at the interval, can be pre-purchased online from our menu which includes a variety of pizzas (including vegan options), calamari with fries, BLT ciabatta or warm goats cheese ciabatta with fries.
Please Reserve your Patron and Patron Guest tickets in advance. Member tickets (£4) and Non-Member tickets (£6.50) should be purchased in advance using the link below. Tickets can also be purchased on the door but subject to availability.

Membership Offer - Prices Unchange
Patron and Member tickets are available for the season. As a Patron you pay a one-off fee of £45, giving you free entry to all ten films and receive two free guest tickets (worth £13) to use during the season and as a Member, you pay £15, giving you a £2.50 saving off the £6.50 tickets available to non-members.

Patrons
- Pay £45 and enjoy free admission to all ten film screenings from September to the end of June plus two free guest tickets to use during the season.
- Reserve all your Patron, free guest tickets and purchase additional guest tickets online.
Ordinary Members
- Pay £15 a pay a reduced £4 ticket price for each screening
- Purchase your member ticket and any additional £6.50 non-member tickets online.
Non-Members
- Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the door (subject to availability) at £6.50

Sheet Film Club ("the Club") uses WebCollect to manage its membership activities. This is a secure online system, which enables you to take out your membership subscription, book member and guest tickets online and receive regular updates, by email, of forthcoming events.
