"Past Lives"

The season continues on the 20th February with "Past Lives", a 2023 romantic drama film, written and directed by Celine Song in her directorial debut. The film follows two childhood friends, Nora and Hae Sung, over the course of 24 years after they are wrest apart after Nora's family emigrates from South Korea to the US.

"Past Lives" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in early 2023, and was released in the US later that year .It was named one of the top ten films of 2023 by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute and received multiple accolades, including five nominations at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. At the 96th Academy Awards, it was nominated for Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture.

TICKETS AND INTERVAL FOOD
Our film nights are held in Sheet Village Hall from 7.00pm onwards. A cashless bar serves drinks before the film and during the interval. Food, for delivery from the Queen's Head at the interval, can be pre-purchased online from our menu which includes a variety of pizzas (including vegan options), calamari with fries, BLT ciabatta or warm goats cheese ciabatta with fries.
Please Reserve your Patron and Patron Guest tickets in advance. Member tickets (£4) and Non-Member tickets (£6.50) should be purchased in advance using the link below. Tickets can also be purchased on the door but subject to availability.

Film Club Membership
As we are now more than half way through our current season, we would like to suggest you delay the start of your annual membership until next season. Watch out for more details when these are published here in July 2025.
In the meantime, you are very welcome to attend all our films as a non-member, tickets are priced at £6.50 each.

2024 - 25 SEASON RATES
Patrons
- Pay £45 and enjoy free admission to all ten film screenings from September to the end of June plus two free guest tickets to use during the season.
- Reserve all your Patron, free guest tickets and purchase additional guest tickets online.
Ordinary Members
- Pay £15 a pay a reduced £4 ticket price for each screening
- Purchase your member ticket and any additional £6.50 non-member tickets online.
Non-Members
- Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the door (subject to availability) at £6.50

Sheet Film Club ("the Club") uses WebCollect to manage its membership activities. This is a secure online system, which enables you to take out your membership subscription, book member and guest tickets online and receive regular updates, by email, of forthcoming events.
