   NEXT FILM - THURSDAY 20th JUNE 

 "Lost in Paris" 

 

Our next film on Thursday 20th June (doors open 7.00pm) is "Lost in Paris", a 2016 French-Belgian comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon. In the film Gordon plays a small town Canadian librarian who receives a letter of distress from her 88-year-old Aunt Martha living in Paris. She hops on the first plane only to discover that Martha has disappeared. In an avalanche of disasters, she meets Dom, a seductive homeless guy, played by Abel, who won’t leave her alone.

Films are shown in Sheet Village Hall on Thursday nights starting at 7.30pm with the bar open from 7.00pm and during the interval. Food, delivered from the Queens Head, is also served at the interval. more details below.

 

 

FOOD AND DRINK 

Our film nights are friendly evenings and a chance to meet up with old friends and make new ones. A cashless bar serves drinks before the film and during the interval and food can be pre-purchased, together with your tickets, on this website for delivery from the Queen's Head at the interval.

For the 2023-24 season, our menu has been expanded to include calamari with fries and cheeseburgers and plant burgers with vegan cheese and fries provided they are pre-ordered by 5pm Wednesday 19th June.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS FOR 2023 - 24 SEASON  (SEE BELOW)

Details of our membership options for the new season are detailed below and provide either free admission to all the season's film nights or reduced admission prices to each film. We are most grateful to all our fimgoers who support the club by selecting one of our membership options. 

 

From 1 January, we suggest continuing as a non-member and pre-purchasing non-member tickets for the remainder of the 2023 - 24 season.

 

Non-members can also purchase tickets in advance or, subject to availability, by card on the door.

 

 

 

Sheet Film Club is a member of CINEMA FOR ALL - British Federation Of Film Societies (BFFS) and was awarded a Commendation in the 2015 "Cinema for All" Film Society of the Year Awards - BEST NEW FILM SOCIETY.

2023 - 24 SEASON RATES

Patrons

  • Pay £45 and enjoy free admission to all ten film screenings from September to the end of June plus two free guest tickets to use during the season.
  • Reserve all your Patron, free guest tickets and purchase additional guest tickets online.

 

Ordinary Members

  • Pay £15 a pay a reduced £4 ticket price for each screening
  • Purchase your member ticket and any additional £6.50 non-member tickets online.

Non-Members

  • Tickets can be purchased in advance at £6.50 (subject to availability)

Please note that under our rules, members and guests must be 16 or over, unless stated otherwise for a particular showing. Sheet Film Club ("the Club") uses WebCollect to manage its membership activities.
