Sailing, coaching and summer fun for all abilities
Kids Week is our biggest junior event of the year – five packed days of sailing, games and adventure on the water, open to under 17s. Whether your child is just starting out or already chasing places on the start line, there’s something for everyone.
There are two strands to the week, and both are all about building confidence, enjoying time on the water and making friends:
1. Fun & confidence-building
For younger, less experienced sailors or those not wanting to race, Kids Week is a fantastic way to learn new skills in a relaxed, supportive setting. Sessions are tailored to ability, with plenty of games, team challenges and encouragement – all designed to help young sailors grow in confidence, enjoy their sailing, and earn qualifications appropriate to their level.
2. Race Camp
For sailors ready to step up their racing, our Race Camp offers a more focused (but still fun!) programme. Led by experienced coaches, the coaching covers boat speed, tactics, starts, race rules and more – all in a friendly, encouraging environment where sailors push themselves while having a great time with others who love racing too.
Last year, one parent told us: “Your input last summer was transformational.” We’re aiming to build on that again in 2025 – with a week that’s as inspiring as it is enjoyable.

A parent or guardian must be a Full sailing member or Social member of the club for the Members Rates
