Lake Pier Club Night Canoe session
Wednesday Evening (24th June). Lake Pier unless otherwise stated. Open Canoe paddling session.. Suitable for any member with some experience of open boat paddling - preferably of minimum of Explore (2*) skill level, and can paddle (Solo or tandem) about 3-4 miles, and cope with F.3 winds.**BUT if you are relatively new to Open boats and want some paddling experience, please let me know and we can often accommodate novice paddlers on these Wednesday sessions** (just phone/text/email me beforehand).
Might INCLUDE SOME RESCUE/RECOVERY PRACTICE (Optional!)
Club boats usually available (via Webcollect) for hire, if you don't have your own. Level of 'difficulty' dependant upon conditions on the night. Any doubts about your ability/suitability to join this trip, OR to find out how to get some Canoe skills, please get in touch. (07973 297337). The trip Leader will vary depending on who is available on the night.
Meet Lake Pier ready to be on the water at 6.30pm Off about 9.00pm ish
NB If you're a Canoe Leader or Coach, any offers to lead or assist on these sessions will be appreciated. Plan is for a rotation of leader on as many Wednesdays evenings as poss. So if any Leaders available to commit to regular Wednesday - please let me know.
