Poole Harbour Race - 2026
A challenging race around the harbour for kayaks, canoes, skis, outriggers and SUPs. Trackers are provided for all competitors.
There are 3 courses. The 15 and 8 mile courses cross the harbour and circumnavigate Brownsea island. The 4 mile novice course runs along the shore line past moored yachts and marinas. In the event of rough weather, courses will be modified for less stable boat, SUPs and novice races to a number of laps along the shore to Rockley.
Skis, Outriggers and Sea kayaks who can remount or roll may still race the courses round Brownsea.

The start is Le Mans style from Lake pier beach on the edge of the harbour. The race is non ranking with wide stretches of open rough water.
Note The SUP race is an 8 mile open water race. Entries are restricted to competitors with experience of open water and wind against tide, we may contact you to ask about your experience level.

Adult per seat £30 (excluding insurance)
Under 18 per seat £20 (excluding insurance)
Insurance is either
- Paddle UK / GB Outrigger or equivalent 'on water' membership including competition insurance. Please provide your membership number on the entry form and present at check-in.
- PHCC membership as you have associate insurance. Please provide your webcollect ID on the entry form.
- Paddle UK Single Event Membership (SEM). Visit Buy Single Event Membership | Event Day Tickets | Paddle UK. Please provide SEM number on the entry form and present at check-in.
