Wimborne Saturday Adult Race Coaching
Regular Saturday morning coaching session for adults wishing to develop their skills in Marathon boats or SurfSki.
If you require a boat please ensure that you book it below.
Park by 2nd Wimborne Scout hut or at back of Matrod Frampton company in bays marked 16 or 17.
The sessions starts at 0900 and 10:15. The club boat shed which is situated on the river bank next to the play ground.
To get there from the 2nd Wimborne scout car park, walk 150m down the path alongside the old railway line towards the river.
The Race Training session starts at 0900 and is for the more experienced paddlers and will be focused on racing techniques and tactics. This session is by invitation only.
The Paddling Skills session starts at 1015 and is for the less experienced paddlers and novices and is about building skill and confidence.
If you have been before please collect a paddle and a SurfSki (if that is your chosen boat) from the second container and bring them down to the boat shed by the river.
