Wimborne General Purpose Kayak and Canoe Paddles (AC)
Saturday (occasionally other days of the week!) river session in GP (general purpose) kayaks with possibility of open canoes if requested.
The group size will be dependant on coach/leader availability and normally meets at 0915 at the containers, aiming for 0930 on the water and finish by 1130
Novice paddlers are welcomed. Do remember a change of clothes and you need to be a competent swimmer just in case. Paddlers will be briefed on the bank as normal including what to do if a capsize happens.
Contact the leader if all slots are used. An additional time slot or launch spot may possibly be created
If you are part of a competent peer group of paddlers you are welcome but do avoid overlapping with club sessions.
