Welcome to the WebCollect page of the Phoenix Canoe Club. We are a medium sized club affiliated to "British Canoeing"  and run by volunteer coaches and helpers, offering a warm welcome to new members and operate an equal opportunities policy offering paddlesport for all. The Club was started by a small group of coaches in May 2004, following the closure of the Welsh Harp Youth Sailing Base and a lot of the original members and coaches are still with us. We have both Junior (min. age 9 years) and Senior sections with an active programme of training, events and activities.  We are mainly a non-competitive flat water / whitewater club with an annual foray into kayak surfing.  We are based on the Brent Reservoir (Welsh Harp) just 16 miles from the Lee Valley Whitewater course and run regular recreational and coached trips
