Restronguet Sailing Club is busy gearing up to host the 2021 Gul Mirror British Nationals. We are hoping for  30 - 50 boats from Great Britain. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Restronguet's legendary hospitality will be somewhat limited, but competitors will enjoy racing in the Carrick Roads - some of the best sailing waters in the world.  The headline sponsor is UK water-sports performance clothing manufacturer Gul (who are based in Cornwall).

 

There is no requirement to qualify for the event, anybody with a Mirror can enter and sail. All sailors must be members of the Mirror Class Association. The boat will need a valid measurement certificate & certified sails etc. to race for the Nationals, but unmeasured boats are permitted to race in the Bronze fleet alongside the main fleet. If possible, please have your boat's buoyancy tested, and certificate endorsed, prior to the event (a Club Officer can do this), otherwise, we will be conducting tests, but it would be helpful if we only have to do this on a few boats.

 

Before entering, you need to read the Notice Of Race (the entry form requires you to agree to abide by it's contents)

 

You will be asked to fill in an entry form for each entry purchased. Filling in an entry form for each entry is part of the checkout process. You can review your basket, update your entry forms or remove an entry before you have to pay. Should Restronguet be unable to host the event, all entry fees will be refunded in full.
