Membership Categories & Subscriptions October 2025-26
Members can settle their subscription via a payment card at the bar, direct bank transfer, monthly Direct Debit or by calling the club office (+44 1843 591766)
Individual Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. A member receives a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account.
£325 for each year or DD £27.50 per month
Family Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Both members receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Both members are deemed to reside at the same address.
£500 for each year or DD £42.50 per month
Overseas Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Full members receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Overseas members are deemed to reside outside of the UK.

Crew Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. A crew member receives 5% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Crew membership has no voting rights and is only available to new members who are actively crewing on a RTYC boat. This membership must be proposed and seconded by both the RCS & RCC where appropriate. It is not possible to change from a full member to a crew member.

A single membership for one person aged over 18 years. A single membership is able to benefit from all of the club facilities and a generous bar discount as well as a discount on all other club facilities.

Crew & Under 35
Annual End Date: 30th SeptemberThis category of membership is for individuals actively participating in sailing on club members' boats. To qualify for Crew or Under 35 membership your application has to be sponsored by the owner of the yacht and countersigned by the Rear Commodore Sailing or Rear Commodore Cruising. Crew & Under 35 membership entitles you to a categorised discount on bar prices.
Full members cannot change category to Crew membership.

Interim Trial
Annual End Date: 30th Septemberpro-rata price for 1/12 ⇒ 31/12
This category of membership is for prospective new members aged 35 and over who do not have any established connections with existing members. It will allow members to experience and enjoy being a member of the RTYC for 12 months until they can establish a relationship with members and continue on to become a full member of the club.

A full family membership for couples living at the same address including all children up to the age of 18 years. A Family membership enjoys all of the benefits of a full member including bar discount and a discount on the hire of all club facilities.

By paying for your yearly subscription in monthly amounts you are agreeing to pay for the whole subscription year. If you cancel your direct debit after the start of the new subscription year, you are contracted to pay any balance outstanding for the remainder of the year.
