Membership Categories & Subscriptions October 2026-27
Members may settle their subscription via direct bank transfer, monthly Direct Debit or by calling the club office (+44 1843 591766)
Individual Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. A member receives a 20% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account.
£350.00 for each year or DD £30.63 per month
Family Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Both members receive a 20% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Both members are deemed to reside at the same address.
£550 for each year or DD £48.13 per month
Overseas Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Full members receive a 20% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Overseas members are deemed to reside outside of the UK.
Individual £325 for each year Family £550 for each year
Crew Member
Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. A crew member receives 5% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Crew membership has no voting rights and is only available to new members who are actively crewing on a RTYC boat. This membership must be proposed and seconded by both the RCS & RCC where appropriate. It is not possible to change from a full member to a crew member.
£140 for each year or DD £12.25 per month
Full Member under 35 years of age
All benefits as per Individual member, but aged under 35 years on the 1st October on the year of joining.
£196 for each year they remain under 35 Years of age or £17.15 per month
Under 22 Member
For persons aged 16 and under 22 on 1st October on the year of subscribing, subscription shown paid annually.
£20.00 for each year they remain under 22 years of age
Friends of RTYC
A great way to start your membership journey to becoming a full member. Designed for members wishing to enjoy the use of the clubhouse. Members entitled to a 3% discount on all bar purchases. Not transferable from any other membership category. Subscription shown is payable annually.

Family/Joint

Friends of RTYC
Period: 365This category of membership is for those that purely wish to support the club socially and benefits from a 3% discount on all bar purchases. However, it does not accrue the benefits that full membership enjoys.
Under 35
Annual End Date: 30th SeptemberThis category of full membership is for individuals actively participating in sailing on club member's boats. Under 35 membership entitles you to a 20% discount on bar purchases as well as other club amenities..
You can also pay this annual subscription by monthly direct debit. To do so, go to the Monthly Direct Debit tab and select the "Crew/Under 35" category and follow the procedure as directed.
Interim Trial
Annual End Date: 30th SeptemberThis category of membership is for prospective new members aged 35 and over who do not have any established connections with existing members. It will allow members to experience and enjoy being a member of the RTYC for 12 months until they can establish a relationship with members and continue on to become a full member of the club.

Full Individual
Annual End Date: 30th SeptemberThis is an Individual membership for one person aged over 35 years. This category provides full membership and comes with a generous discount of 20% on all food and drink purchased at the club as well as a discount on all other club facilities.

Family/Joint

Membership of this category will entitle you to a small discount on bar purchases, however, you will not qualify as a full member with all of the benefits that entails. Individual Monthly D/Debit
Annual End Date: 30th SeptemberFor Annual Membership Subscription paid monthly by Direct Debit.
By paying for your yearly subscription in monthly amounts you are agreeing to pay for the whole subscription year. If you cancel your direct debit after the start of the new subscription year, you are contracted to pay any balance outstanding for the remainder of the year.

Period: 365This membership category is for young people over 16 and under 22 who wish to be a club member and participate in all club activities. You will not be a full member but are welcome to use all of the club facilities.
