You are cordially invited to our regatta, which will be held on Saturday 11th July 2026.

The venue is the same as previous years but with amendment to trailing parking, location for
changeovers and race course (as we don’t have access to a pontoon for this year whilst our new one
is being built). There are some notes and a map on Page 2, for anyone who needs additional
information. If you would like further details, please contact the above email address/mobile number.
Location: Timings: Mount Batten Watersports Centre (PL9 9SJ)
Gigs are requested to arrive between 08.30 am and 09.15 am
Cox’s meeting at 10.00 am
First race to start at 10.30 am
Course: We will have a longer 6 km race for adults, with shorter course for Juniors

Open Vets/SuperVets**
Juniors U14/U16**
Ladies Seniors
Ladies Vets/SuperVets**
**Categories may need to be combined if there are insufficient numbers. There will still be a trophy for the first placed crew in each
category.
There will be a BBQ, tea/coffee, water, sandwiches and cakes available on the day, on the green next
to the Mount Batten Hotel.

Parking
There is a dedicated area for trailer parking (3) which is part of the large public car park (free of
charge). There is additional free on-road parking along Lawrence Road (although this is a busy road
so please take care). Please note that Mount Batten Centre itself is currently closed and there is no
parking available in their small car parks. There is the option of parking in the Plymouth Barbican area
and taking the Water Taxi across to the MBC temporary pontoon (7).
