MAURICE HUNKIN BIRTHDAY REGATTA
River Fowey Gig Club would like to invite you to our Annual “Hunkin Regatta”.
A day of racing “Hunkin” built gigs.
This is a “fun” event, plus a little bit of pre IOS training……
- Date 7th February 2026
- Racing from 12:00 till 16:30 approx. – (Invite enclosed)
- Depending on number we can run B heats if required
- Venue – River Fowey
- Entry requirement – must enter a gig built by Maurice or louis Hunkin.
- Limited numbers.
Gig racing will start at 12:00 – Races will start & finish at Berrills Yard (Lifeboat station) – Tea & coffee will be available to keep out the cold! – Fowey Gallants sailing club will be open providing food drink & an excellent viewing platform.
