SCC Paddleboarding Trip Canford Magna
Paddleboarding Trip from Canford Magna on the River Stour up to Eye Bridge and back.
Date: Saturday 6th July
Location: Use BH21 3AD in your sat nav or take directions for Canford School. Park in the side road on the right off Oakley Lane heading to school entrance. If no space, park on Oakley Lane itself
Time : meet at 10am with boards inflated to be on the water for 1030am.
Distance: 10Km
Paddling Time: about 3 hours total paddling time and there will also be a long lunch break at our turning destination Eye Bridge.
What to bring: water, sunscreen, insect repellent and a packed lunch.
Type of trip: river trip upstream through reeds and against gentle flow in sections. You need to be competent on your board to stand up and manage 2 hours paddling.

Equipment: If you are bringing your own SUP, paddle and leash, that is great. If you want to borrow club boards, please collect from club on Thursday to carry on your roof rack or contact me regarding any options for other arrangements.
