Club Paddle: Driffield Navigation/Frodingham  

A static flat water paddle from Frodingham Landing To Hempleholme Lock and Return. This paddle is in a very picturesque area of the Driffield Navigation. Suitable for all types of craft and paddling ability. A chance to get close to nature in a protected area of water. We will paddle along the canal to the junction where it meets with the River Hull, then turn left and paddle South to Hempleholme Lock. Here there will be the chance to stretch your legs and have some refreshments, please bring a packed lunch and drinks, before setting off back along the same route. Alternatively, depending on wind direction, we will paddle North to Snakeholme Lock. Club members who wish to take part should have at least completed the Discover Award.

We will meet at Frodingham Landing at 09.00 on Sunday 26th July to be on the water by 09.45. We will aim to be off the water by 13.45. There is a £5 parking/launch fee payable by honesty box so please bring some cash.
