Club Twixmas Paddle Ruswarp (River Esk)
A short winter paddle with plenty of opportunities to enjoy some peace and quiet on the river at a gentle pace.
We will put in using the quay at Ruswarp pleasure boats and paddle gently upstream to the confluence with Iburndale Beck opposite Perry’s Plants Garden Centre.
After a short rest on the water we return downstream to Ruswarp to enjoy a picnic on the lawn beside the river. This is an opportunity to bring camping stoves and cook up a hot lunch of soup and hot sandwiches with the Christmas leftovers.
