PAY YOUR BALANCE FOR A 2026 CHARTER

Due to ongoing maintenance, there will be one charter this year.
Autumn charter from Gosport
We have had to change the date of our October charter. Unfortunately, TS Royalist has sustained damage to the rubbing strake on both sides of the hull. A Shipwright has been booked to make the necessary repairs, They will be working Monday to Wednesday. Instead of joining the ship on Monday, we have been asked to join on Tuesday 6th October between 1200 and 1400 hours
We will be alongside on Tuesday and Wednesday. While alongside we will be completing drills and doing the Up and Over exercises etc. The shipwright is planned to finish by 1600 hours Wednesday giving us a late afternoon sail as well as a full sail Thursday, and then Friday morning, weather permitting. We will leave the ship in Gosport on Friday 9th October after a light lunch.
Those who wish to join this charter need to travel to Gosport by their own arrangements on Tuesday 6th October to arrive at the ship between 12 noon and 2 o'clock. The charter will finish back in Gosport on Friday 9th October for a light lunch before leaving. Full joining instructions will be provided nearer the date.
If the date or location of a charter has to be changed then you may withdraw and your deposit will be refunded. If a charter is cancelled then your deposit will be refunded.
An all-in charter fee of £375 for members and £425 for non-members includes all meals and non-alcoholic drinks on board TS Royalist.

Voyages in a square-rigger can be arduous if the going is rough; therefore applicants must have a level of fitness that can cope with this contingency. Applicants over the age of 75 years at the time of the charter must complete the SRCC Declaration of Fitness form. (The form is available under the adjacent 'Downloads').
